K.E.CARMEL PUBLIC SCHOOL

Kuriakose Elias Carmel Public School is an educational institution of CMI (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate) congregation, by Catholic Minority Community.

Named after St. Elias, the school is owned and managed by St. Elias Carmel House Kainakary under St. Joseph’s province, Thiruvananthapuram. The school has been started on 2 June 2003. It is situated in the birth place and very closer to the home of the great pioneer educationalist St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder of CMI congregation. Every year our school is introducing innovative facilities and methods to improve the quality of students. This year school is blessed with two more buildings and all three buildings are named as St. Joseph’s Block, St. Mary’s Block, St. Chavara’s Block respectively. St. Mary’s Block is specially renovated and all the class rooms are changed into SMART CLASSES with multimedia facilities and the entire administration of KE Carmel School is in the this Block.

ADMISSION

Admission to K. E. Carmel Public School is restricted by conditions of age, mental aptitude, ability and conduct of the candidate. Applicants for admission to higher classes will be tested, interviewed, and admitted to the standard they are found fit according to the vacancies available.
